The U14 girls pennant got off to a great start on Friday night with a 1:0 win against Mentone – goal scored by Emma Johnson-Shortis. Very encouraging for a fresh team that have had very few training sessions together so far, so looking forward to more wins as the season progresses. The girls worked well and followed most of the instructions from their coaches which is an encouraging sign for a great season ahead! Shout out to our first gamers, our double-ups and the girls that tried new positions! There was a fun positive vibe around the team and hopefully awesome things to come.
